Valerija Lisauske is a visual artist. Born in 1989 in the city of Ukhta, Komi Republic, all her ancestors were exiled there during the USSR era. After school she went to live and work in St. Petersburg, Russia. In her work, she combines documentary and post-documentary approaches, explores the psychology of family, motherhood and childhood. She is a participant of festivals and collective exhibitions of photography in Russia and Europe. Moved to the city of Vilnius, Lithuania in 2023
